The area of the Yogi showing is underlain by rock of the Upper Triassic Stuhini Group.

The Yogi showing consists of a massive chalcopyrite-pyrite vein hosted in sheared and fractured mafic volcanics. The vein varies in width from 0.15 to 1.0 metre and was traced for more than 100 metres. Selected grab sampling of this structure in 1988 returned assays of up to 4.05 grams per tonne gold, 70.0 grams per tonne silver, and 14.22 per cent copper (Assessment Report 21061). Although this vein could not be located in 1989 or 1990 by Gigi Resources, a significant shear zone was discovered in 1989 on the east bank of Galore Creek. This shear zone is up to 15 metres wide and contains several 10 by 30 centimetre pods of copper mineralization. By 1990, the area was reported to have been heavily sampled with little significant gold values obtained.
